*VIQ™ is not being built as a general-purpose assistant. It is being developed as a governed cognitive system - one that prioritizes structure, interpretability, human oversight, and controlled intelligence. Each phase expands capability while preserving that foundation.
🧬 Phase 1 - Governed Cognitive Interface (April 15, 2026)
Phase 1 introduces VIQ™ as a controlled cognitive interface demonstration.
The system currently integrates:
- Ω-IX™ (Omega Interaktiv Execution Layer) for ethics and governance
- "Structured Analytical Engine" (specific component name redacted) for structured analysis
- "Adaptive Memory Layer" (specific component name redacted) for session-based adaptive memory
- Mode-based behavioral configurations (Clinical, Research, Creative, Executive)
- Structured natural language directive input
- A bounded demo environment with enforced guardrails
This phase is intentionally constrained. It is not a general-purpose assistant and does not represent the full architecture. It serves as the operational foundation for all future system expansion.
🧠 Phase 2 - Structured Reasoning Expansion (April 22, 2026)
Phase 2 expands the depth, precision, and consistency of system-level reasoning.
Development includes:
- Enhanced structured output generation across analytical domains
- Improved reasoning pathways within the "Structured Analytical Engine" (specific component name redacted)
- Greater alignment between input intent and system response
- Increased consistency in mode-driven behavior
This phase strengthens VIQ’s ability to process complex inputs while maintaining controlled, explainable outputs.
📊 Phase 3 - Adaptive Memory & Context Evolution (April 27, 2026)
Phase 3 advances the "Adaptive Memory Layer" (specific component name redacted) beyond session-based retention toward more dynamic contextual awareness.
Development includes:
- Expanded memory structuring and retrieval mechanisms
- Improved continuity across interactions
- Context-informed response refinement
- Controlled evolution of system awareness within defined boundaries
All enhancements remain governed by the Ω-IX™ framework to ensure alignment, safety, and system integrity.
*Phase 3 marked the publication of VIGI IQ’s first public research framework paper on governance-first cognitive architecture. This phase represented the transition from prototype development toward empirical systems research.
🚀 Phase 4 - Controlled Deployment & System Expansion (May 4, 2026)
Phase 4 focuses on scaling VIQ™ beyond a local demonstration into a controlled, accessible system environment.
Development includes:
- Secure deployment infrastructure for broader access
- Controlled user interaction environments
- Access management and usage gating systems
- Performance optimization and system scalability
- Continued protection of proprietary architecture during expansion
This phase prioritizes responsible growth, ensuring that accessibility increases without compromising system governance or intellectual property protections.
*Phase 4 marks the completion of major updates for the public demo. Empirical governance and functionality testing for VIGI IQ’s second research paper is currently underway using the live deployment environment.
Following this release, development will transition to the full VIQ™ cognitive architecture (Phase 5), which will be introduced as a paid platform. The current demo will remain available as the final free version of VIQ™ and will have minor patches and updates.
